Natural Gas heater units are designed for both above ground pools and inground pools. Gas pool heaters also come in Electronic or Millivolt (Standing Pilot)versions. Electronic versions are like a modern gas boiler and feature electronic spark ignition and micro processor control, thus giving you complete control of your pool temperature at the push of a button. Millivolt models are an older technology which uses a permanent pilot light and therefore is slightly less efficient, however does not require electrical wiring.
