I am about to order another set of filters. We installed our pool 5-6 years ago, 1 filter came with the package, and we ordered a backup. I keep a plastic garbage (bought for this purpose) full of water and cleaning solution which I lower the cartridge filter into so that it soaks and oils and such are removed. By rotating the two filters, and power washing them clean, our filters have lasted 5 years. One of them is showing signs of wear, and I could simply replace one, but will order 2 and repeat the process with a clean start.

Filters well , lasts a long time. I like it a lot more than using a sand filter.
