We got 3 winters out of it before it tore this spring while I was removing it. Probably should have taken it off earlier before the sun started getting too warm but the temps weren’t warm enough for swimming. Definitely helps protect the solar cover, but they shouldn’t cost as much as a winter cover does.

Only lasted 2 winters and will need a new one if I choose to store the solar cover this way again. Due to the size of the pool, that comes to over $50 per season to keep the solar cover on the reel and store on the pool deck for the winter. Overpriced for the amount of time it lasted
