When designing your inground pool, one of the choices you will need to make is the corner radius. This detail affects not only the pool’s appearance but also its function, maintenance, and compatibility with accessories such as pool covers. The two most common options are 2 ft radius corners and 6 inch radius corners.
The radius is the measurement from the point where two straight sides meet, to the beginning of the curve in the corner. A 2 ft radius has a large, sweeping curve. A 6 inch radius has a much tighter curve, closer to a square corner.
