Replace a worn cover without starting over

Have an old safety cover with holes, tears or other damage and do not want to re-drill new anchors? With cover replacement, you send us your old cover. It is used as the manufacturing template so the replacement matches the original cover specifications, then the old cover is discarded and is not returned.

All four options provide the same safety and strength for a homeowner, and all four drain. Most customers choose mesh because it is lighter, drains across the entire cover, and is easier to install and patch if damaged. Solid covers are much heavier, use a drainage channel, and are best suited to specific situations such as late openings, early closings, or yards with very heavy shedding.

What is a safety cover?

Safety covers are lightweight yet extremely strong inground swimming pool covers that prevent your pets and children from falling into your pool during the winter, while also keeping dirt, leaves and stagnant water out. Unlike a traditional winter cover, a safety cover provides a tight fit for your pool shape and size, regardless of how large or uniquely shaped it may be.

What are the benefits of a safety cover?

A pool safety cover is a solid vinyl or mesh cover pulled tightly across your inground pool and secured using anchors installed around the pool perimeter. It provides a fitted barrier and meets ASTM International Standards. Although no one should ever walk on a pool safety cover, in an emergency it can hold the weight of an adult, child or family pet.

Can I order a stock safety cover?

Pool Supplies Canada offers 14 shapes and over 100 sizes of in-stock, pre-made safety covers. Use the cover finder at the top of this page to see if your pool qualifies for a stock safety cover. If your shape, size or step option is not shown, a custom safety cover can be made to fit.

What is cover replacement?

Cover replacement uses your existing cover as a template for a new one, which means most, if not all, of your anchor holes will line up as before. As long as you have your old safety cover, a new one can be made. The old cover is discarded after it is used as the template and is not returned.
