Fun Things to Do Outside the Pool With Noodles This Summer!

When most people think of pool noodles, the first thing that comes to mind is swimming - but there are so many other fun activities, crafts and things to do with noodles when outside of the pool. Here are a few new fun and interesting other ways you can use your pool noodles at home this Summer while keeping dry!

Make a Shoe Stand: pool noodles are known for holding their shape, so if your boots or shoes are sagging, cut a noodle and pop it in - it'll keep them upright and declutter your crawl space!

Door Stoppers: use part of a noodle to stop doors from slamming shut in the wind or by mistake, just cut a small piece off, slit open the side to create an opening, and slide it over the side of the door. Bonus tip: put the noodle section higher up on the door to prevent young children from getting a hold of it.

Kneeling Pad: doing some work in the garden in a pinch and not prepared? Cut a section of a pool noodle off and use it in place of a garden kneeler - your knees will thank you!

DIY Floating Cup Holder and Storage: this one is pool themed, but can also be used for bath time - cut sections out of a pool noodle and glue them to the side of a Tupperware or other plastic storage container. Once dry, simply place in the bath or pool for a quick and affordable DIY floating cup holder or toy container!

DIY Dumb Bells: attach evenly cut sections of a pool noodle to an empty weight bar or other handle for a super-affordable alternative to traditional weights. These make the perfect companion for water aerobics!

Car Roof Rack: looking to move a larger object but don't have a roof rack? Use a bunch of pool noodles instead and keep your roof and items safe!
