Awesome pool heater, opened may 2-4 long weekend in southern Ontario (Wellington county) and pool was 49 degrees. Ran the heater for 7-8 hours each afternoon for 6 days and brought it to a beautiful 82 degrees. Heater is the smallEst one at 50k BTU. My pool is a 21’ x54” above ground with 2” of styrofoam under it which helps. Heater is quiet, was easy to install, and easy to run. Couple words to the next buyer- you don’t need the 1.5” adapters it suggests you add to the order, it already comes with some, and when getting wire to install, or hiring an electrician the manual says it requires 10/3 wire, this is including the ground which we in Canada know as 10/2 - don’t make my mistakes and enjoy your pool this weekend!

we are in love with this heater and at a great price I keep my pool at 93...and have logged more hrs in the last two weeks than all of last year. would highly recommend ,now to upgrade the pool. I live it southern Nova Scotia and would buy again thank you so much I have bought many items from this site but this is by far the best thank you

I have a 16-foot above-ground Intex pool in Paradise, NL. July 2015 was the coldest month on record in a LONG time and by using this pump and a good solar blanket I was able to economically maintain a 30+ degree celsius temperature throughout the summer. My kids logged a LOT of time in the pool! Couldn't do without it.

The heat pump works well. We installed it on a 12x24 above ground pool. When the weather is warm, it will increase temp. 1 degree per hour. Only a couple complaints, the pump is slightly different than the picture, the "feet" of the unit do not extend outside of the frame, so screwing it down to something is difficult. Also, the water in and out are of the back, not the side. Overall a good value.

Much Smaller than I imagined, but heats the pool nice here on the East Coast. Was interested to know this was a Hayward Brand when I called to inquire about warranty. Price is really darn good! Shipped quick too. Thank you.

My brother has this Heat Pump, worked excellent this past Summer on his 18 round above ground here in Paradise, Newfoundland.
