Overall, customers find this Polaris pool cleaner to be an effective tool for general pool maintenance. They appreciate that it comes with its own filter bag, which does not add extra wear on older filters and pumps. Some users noted a bit of difficulty with the hose coil tangling and the cleaner not picking up fine debris, but it seems to work well for larger debris and overall cleanliness.

After owning this Polaris for a couple of months I'm going to rate it as being just ok. At first it needed constant babysitting because the coil in the hose would cause it to tangle in on itself. It does an ok job at picking up debris but not fine material. That stuff is still at the bottom of your pool. The mesh bag is not fine enough. And I would highly advise anyone to hang the hoses as straight as you can. Also I find that it doesn't clean directly across from the attachment fitting of the pool. So now I have to also buy a pool vacuum to clean up the fine stuff.
The fact that this cleaner came with its own filter bag was a huge help. I have an older filter and pump so I do like that this doesn't add more wear on them.
I was a little apprehensive about this cleaner, but it has proved to be a great help keeping my pool clean.
