Use Pool Supplies Canada Stain and Scale Control for the prevention of stains in swimming pools due to the precipitation of metals, prevents scale formation and short filter runs. Using Stain and Scale Control regularly helps protect pool equipment, heaters, pipes and fittings from scale formation, clogging or corrosion. If when added a green or brown colour develops, this may be due to copper or iron in the water as Stain and Scale products will solubilize these materials.

It is highly recommended to add Stain and Scale Control to your water when starting up a new pool.

Directions for use:

For normal hardness and material content:

• Initial Dosage: 120 mL per 10,000 L
• Weekly Dosage: 30 mL per 10,000 L

For extremly hard water (over 200ppm), high iron, copper or manganese (over 0.1ppm):

• Initial Dosage: 240 mL per 10,000 L of water
• Weekly Dosage: Follow weekly schedule above
