This unit is not compatible with soft-sided pools (Intex, Coleman, Bestway) due to insufficient flow rate. Installing this unit on a soft-sided pool voids product warranty.

Very disappointed with the service. My heat pump developed a problem with the control unit in 2023 and I have repeatedly tried to get it fixed. My advice before purchasing this unit is to make sure there is someone qualified in your area to actually service this unit once the warranty period has expired.
I have a 10,000 gallon pool, which is roughly 14 x 28 and 4 feet deep on average. This heat pump increases the pool temp rather quickly when the ambient air is over 65F (15C) and adequately maintains the water temperature when air is between 50F (10C) and 65. Like all pool heat pumps, this unit produces a great deal of condensation. Keep this in mind when you are selecting a spot for it. I'm finding that in Southern Ontario, running the heat pump from the middle of May to early October costs roughly $150 - 200 a month. I keep it set at 88F (31C). I have a pool cover (blanket) which I use at night and on rainy days.
Very impressed with this heater. Heated up our pool from 16 degrees to 30 degrees in less than 2 days. Very comfortable water now!
Very happy with our purchase. We have a 24 foot above ground pool, and this heats it up quickly. No regrets, only that we didn't buy it sooner.
You get what you pay for normally, but the price of this unit and the quality of the unit are both exceptional. Keep up the good work ! I like and the kids Like our warm water :)
