This is a SkimSaver Lid'l Seal Kit AG100 which protects from freeze damage most aboveground 6 inch opening skimmers including Hayward SP1090, Sta-Rite and American. SkimSaver seals will protect your skimmer from freeze damage. They will also save you thousands of gallons of water a year while the built-in ridge protects the pool wall opening from corrosion.

To use, simply replace your existing skimmer faceplate with the SkimSaver patented faceplate, and then snap-in the flush mount Lid'l Seal for a water tight fit. The handy SkimSaver Lid'l Seal snap-in closure system saves you time and money when winterizing your pool. And you do not need to drain the water below the skimmer.

The SkimSaver Lid'l corners are radius and the surface tapered smooth. There are no sharp ridges protruding out from the edges, keeping it safe for vinyl liners and swimmers shoulders. Because the faceplate is twice as thick as all the other brands, it will eliminate cracks in the corners and where screws are located.

To determine which model will fit your existing skimmer, measure the bolt pattern of the faceplate and compare to the measurement template pictured. The bolt pattern of the Lid' L Seal should match the bolt pattern of the existing skimmer exactly; the interior or exterior dimensions may differ slightly.

Please Note: Gaskets DO NOT come with the SkimSaver. On new installations, simply install the new gaskets that came with your skimmer. On existing skimmers, it is recommended that you replace the skimmer gaskets when installing SkimSaver. If gaskets are torn or show any wear they MUST be replaced.
