This style of coping should be used to receive "Standard Bead" liners; also known as above ground beaded coping, hang bead or hanger bead step.

The advantage to using bead retainer for above ground pools is that if a deck or structure is built up to the pools edge then you can remove an old pool liner and install a new pool liner without having to disassemble the pool or deck in any way!
